Technology is present in practically every educational setting in today's schools. Schools are now integrating cutting edge tools, and not just standard desktop computers. iPads, laptops and ActiveBoards are becoming the norm in classrooms. Today, emphasis is being placed on the importance of children learning to enjoy school at an early age. Preschool classrooms can integrate technology with the use of Smart Tables. Smart Tables come with educational software and games already loaded, but any type of activity can be created as well. I enjoy using the Smart Table in my classroom and have been able to see how capable my students are. I believe this experience prepares my students for the use of the Active Boards in Kindergarten. This technology adds another dimension to the way teachers can teach and students can learn.
